Driver Returns To Scene Of Fatal Crash In Bowie After Leaving Area, State Police Say The driver who struck and killed a pedestrian in Prince George’s County on Monday night thought twice about fleeing in Bowie and returned to the scene of the crash, state police say. Shortly after 9:45 p.m. on Monday, April 10, troopers from the Maryland State Police Forestville Barrack were called to the southbound lanes of US Route 301 near Excalibur Road in Bowie, when a person was struck by a Honda Pilot.
