Multi-Vehicle I-495 Crash In Chevy Chase Causes Miles Of Backups
A major crash was causing traffic problems along I-495 in Chevy Chase early Friday, May 31. It happened along the outer loop between Connecticut Avenue and Georgia Avenue around 6:30 a.m. All lanes were open as of press time however 6.5 miles of delays were being reported.

Three-Vehicle Crash Backs Up Traffic On I-95 In Harford County
Motorists on I-95 in Northern Maryland were met by delays on Monday afternoon following a three-vehicle crash in Harford County. Volunteer firefighters and paramedics from the Aberdeen fire Department were called to investigate a crash in Belcamp at around 1 p.m. on May 13, tying up traffic in the area. The crash was reported in the right shoulder of the southbound lanes near MD-543 (exit 80/Riverside Parkway). A serious multiple-vehicle crash on Interstate 83 caused delays which led to another crash in Pennsylvania, authorities told Daily Voice on Thursday. The serious crash in Maryland happened at I-83 North just before Exit 36:MD Route 339/Old York Road. The call to Baltimore County dispatchers came in at 6:47 a.m. on Dec 21. An RV fire turned brush fire halted traffic on Interstate 81 near the Maryland and Pennsylvania state lines on Wednesday, authorities told Daily Voice. The RV's brakes caught fire near 14: PA 316 - Wayne Avenue around 2:27 p.m. on Oct. 25, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Fritzi Schreffler explained. Sinkhole Repairs On I-270 Expected To Take Longer Than Originally Thought
The massive sinkhole that took over the southbound lanes of a Maryland Highway is going to close the interstate for much longer than expected, reports WTOP. Recent and expected weather is causing delays in plans to repair the 30 foot sinkhole on I-270 in Gaithersburg, the outlet reports. A large sinkhole on Interstate 270 caused by a broken drainage pipe is expected to cause major traffic delays as officials prepare for at least a week of road closures, reports News4. Police ID Dump Truck Driver Killed In Horrific Maryland Crash
The dump truck driver killed in a crash on Aris T. Allen Boulevard Monday, May 2 was identified as a 63-year-old Glen Burnie man. Cleve Tyrone Maynard was heading east when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a bridge retaining wall just before 1 p.m., Anne Arundel County Police said.
