On Nov. 5, 2020, Gervonta Davis, 27, ran a red light on southbound Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and struck a Toyota Corolla driven by a pregnant woman shortly before 2 a.m., leaving her stranded as she pleaded for help, the outlet continues. Davis had accepted the deal that would sentence him to a one-year suspended sentence with two months of home confinement and work release. A trial has been scheduled for December 12. …

Police ID Man And Pregnant Woman Killed In Baltimore Shooting Authorities have identified the victims killed in the drive-by shooting that killed a man, and a pregnant woman after an emergency delivery in Baltimore last week.  Angel Morgan Heather Smith, 38, and Yahmell Montague, 37, were rushed to the hospital after being shot around 8:15 p.m. on the 300 block of E. 23rd Street, police said. Montague was immediately pronounced dead. An emergency delivery was performed on Smith, who was pronounced deceased a short time later. The newborn was reported to be in critical condition.
