In March, Lakelands Park Middle School had to shelter-in-place following a threat that was made targeting the building posted on social media. The bomb threat was reported shortly before 8:45 a.m. on Friday, March 15, and ultimately deemed to be not credible, and there was no threat to students or staff. Covid-19: These Montgomery County Public Schools Are Switching To Virtual Learning As a result of COVID-19 and staffing shortages, 16 schools in Montgomery County will move to virtual learning, according to district officials.
