Child Of NFL Linebacker From Baltimore Accidentally Drowns Days After Second Birthday Tampa Bay Buccaneer linebacker Shaquil Barrett, a Baltimore native, has suffered a greater hit than anything he ever experienced on the gridiron after his 2-year-old daughter drowned in the family’s swimming pool over the weekend. Officers from the Tampa Police Department responded to Barrett’s home in Tampa at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 30, where there were reports of a child who had fallen into a pool. The child was rushed to an area hospital and later pronounced dead, according to reports. Her death came days after the Barrett family celebrated her second birthday. …

2-Year-Old Drowns On Memorial Day In Maryland A 2-year-old child was pronounced dead Tuesday, May 31 after drowning in Elkton over the holiday weekend, CBS2 says citing the Cecil County Sheriff's Office. Lifesaving efforts were performed on the child at the home on the 300 block of Kirk Road around 5:20 p.m., Monday, May 30, the outlet said.
