A failed burglary took a bizarre turn over the weekend when the alleged intruder began howling and making squealing noises before throwing chairs at a homeowner who scared him away, authorities said.
Timothy Grigg, 54, faces multiple charges following the alleged Enfield home break-in on Sunday, Aug. 2, police said.
According to Enfield police, Grigg got into the home just before 6 a.m. through a rear hatchway, but he was stopped before he could get fully inside when the homeowner showed him a legally possessed firearm.

Motorcyclist Killed In Crash ID'd As 69-Year-Old CT Man
Authorities have identified a motorcyclist killed in a weekend crash as a 69-year-old Connecticut man.
Mark Floryan, of Tariffville, was involved in the crash at about 5:45 p.m. Sunday, July 26, on Route 189 near the intersection of Peck Orchard Road in Granby, police said Tuesday.
Responders found Floryan seriously injured after the two-vehicle crash, and crews airlifted him to Hartford Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
