A 77-year-old Connecticut man was killed after he allegedly lost control of his SUV and veered off the roadway, hitting a rock wall. New Haven County resident Peter Botarelli, age 77, of Guilford, was killed around 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19, on I-95 in Branford. Officials in Connecticut are warning motorists to look out for deer as the peak season for collisions involving the animals approaches.
