She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Large Chester Fire Destroys Several Townhomes, Residents Homeless Several residents were left homeless after a fire ripped through a popular Hudson Valley townhouse complex. The incident occurred in Orange County shortly after 5 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, in Chester at the Whispering Hills Complex. Chester Fire Chief Tom Marchiano told Mark Lieb of Rockland Video Productions that when firefighters arrived, they found flames shooting through the roof of one of the buildings in the center of the complex. Man Found Dead Floating In Hamden Lake Police are investigating after a man's body was found floating in a lake in Connecticut. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 11:15 a.m., Monday, April 15, at Lake Whitney in Hamden, near Hartford Turnpike and Rogers Road.
