15 Cars Broken Into At CT Hospital
Police are investigating after some 15 vehicles were broken into in the parking area of a Connecticut hospital. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 1:20 p.m., Monday, May 13, at Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford. According to Officer Alex Torres of the Wallingford Police, responding officers found at least 15 employee vehicles had been broken into. Many had their windows smashed and wallets and valuables taken, Torres said. Several vehicles were parked by the softball field and in the parking area. Car Crashes Into CT Apartment Complex Damaging Structure
A car crashed into a Connecticut apartment building after the driver failed to make a turn and drove straight into the complex, according to police. The incident took place in New Haven County around 9 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 13 in Wallingford at 327 South Elm St. According to Lt. Stephen Jaques of the Wallingford Police, officers discovered that a gray 2016 Kia Optima crashed into the front side of the complex causing damage to the structure. An AR-15 rifle was stolen out of the vehicle of a Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection vehicle parked at a home. The incident took place in New Haven County around 6:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 26 in Wallingford. Police are asking the public for help locating a pickup truck that allegedly fled a hit-and-run crash that injured two juveniles in Connecticut. The crash took place in New Haven County around 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14 in Wallingford, on Highland Avenue in the area of Johnson Road. A local man faces a host of charges after taking police on a high-speed chase reaching speeds of 115 miles per hour in a stolen vehicle. Nathaniel Calloway, 28, was arrested after Connecticut State Troopers attempted to stop him on Monday on I-84 for a suspended vehicle registration, Trooper Kelly Grant said.
