Man Critical After Double-Jeep Crash In Hunterdon County: Update

UPDATE: Two people were hurt and another remained in critical condition after a collision between two Jeeps at a Hunterdon County intersection Monday afternoon, authorities confirmed.

The crash occurred at the Route 31 intersection with Regional Road in Clinton Township just before 2:35 p.m., Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée Robeson said in a Tuesday release.

A 2008 Jeep Wrangler turning right onto Route 31 southbound from Regional Road collided with a 2012 Jeep Wrangler heading southbound, according to investigators.

The 17-year-old female driver of the 2008 Jeep Wrangler and her passenger were taken to Hunterdon Medical Center for evaluation, while the other driver — a 69-year-old male — was airlifted to Morristown Memorial Hospital and was listed in critical condition, Robeson added.
