Trio Nabbed For Fairfield County Shots Fired Incident, Police Say Three people, including a juvenile, were arrested in connection with gunshots being fired in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Norwalk around 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9 in the area of 4 Merritt Street. Norwalk police responded to the area after receiving a 911 call of shots being fired in the area and three men running away, said Sgt. Sofia Gulino, of the Norwalk Police. When officers arrived on the scene they located one of the suspects, a 16-year-old male who was in possession of a semi-automatic weapon, on Chestnut Street, Gulino said. Man Shot In Legs In Connecticut, Police Say A man was found shot in the legs in Fairfield County after police received multiple phone calls reporting gunshots. The incident took place in Norwalk around 11 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 4 in the area of South Main Street and Merritt Street. Responding officers located a crime scene in the area of South Main Street, but not a victim, said Norwalk Police Lt. Terrence Blake.  A short time later Norwalk dispatch received a call from Norwalk Hospital, who reported that a man suffering from a gunshot wound had just arrived by private vehicle, Blake said.
