Bethel Police Officer Revives Apparent Overdose Victim BETHEL, Conn. -- Bethel Police Officer Michael McKinney revived a male who appeared to be suffering from an opiate overdose Wednesday night, police said.McKinney responded to a report of a possible overdose and upon arrival, located an unconscious male who appeared to be suffering from an opiate overdose.  Recognizing the symptoms, the officer immediately administered Narcan intranasally. Matthew Brodacki has been chosen to lead the Weston Police Department with the impending retirement of Chief John Troxell, according to a report in The Weston Forum. Brodacki will serve as the sergeant-in-charge as Troxell steps down at the end of the week, the story said. The Roosevelt Forest Commission voted 9-1 on Wednesday to use 1.5 acres in the forest for the park, which be at the site of a former ranger station. The park will include the construction of a small parking lot. The Town Council is expected to vote on the Forest Commission's recommendation at a meeting on March 13.
