Drunken Driver Kills Sidewalk Pedestrian In Fairfax County, Police Say A 38-year-old man has been arrested in a deadly crash in which he struck a pedestrian on the sidewalk of a Fairfax County street, police said. Michael Rambudhan, 38, of Woodbridge, was heading north on North Kings Highway in Huntington, in a 2023 Acura MDX when he left the roadway, struck a median, and continued onto the sidewalk around 12:35 a.m. on Friday, May 24, county police said. Rambudhan's vehicle struck Lucius Gaskins, 54, of Alexandria, before hitting a tree. Gaskins was declared dead at the scene while Rambudhan suffered minor injuries, and remained at the scene.  …

Driver Arrested In Deadly Fairfax County Crash, Police Say A driver was placed under arrest following a fatal pedestrian crash in Fairfax County overnight, police said. The crash happened at North Kings Highway and Huntington Park Drive in Huntington, county police said just before 1:45 a.m. Friday, May 24. The pedestrian, an adult male, was declared deceased at the scene. The driver of the striking vehicle remained at the scene and was later taken into custody, authorities said. No further information was provided.
