At 5:24 a.m., Roxbury police responded to a business on Route 46 for a commercial burglary alarm, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said. Bayonne Sports Icon Marty Reed Dies At 76 Marty Reed, a beloved institution in youth sports in Bayonne, died on Saturday, June 15, at the age of 76, according to his obituary on the Sweeney Funeral Home website. Reed was involved in youth sports for more than 60 years and was a "walking encyclopedia" who remembered every player from Little League and PAL basketball, going back to the 60s, his obituary reads.  He was a regular fixture at Little League games, working the scoreboard and telling stories, and at PAL basketball games, he always greeted people as they arrived, according to his obituary. At 10:30 p.m., a woman stabbed was on the 600 block Fulton Street by a man, who was later apprehended by law enforcement, a spokeswoman for the city said. The woman was transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition, authorities said.

Police ID Porsche Driver, 41, Killed In Linden Crash A 41-year-old North Brunswick man was killed when he crashed a Porsche in Linden the evening of Friday, June 14, authorities said. At 6:45 p.m., a Porsche Boxter driven by Justin Harmon lost control while traveling south on S. Park Avenue and veered into the northbound lane, Linden police said.  The vehicle struck a utility pole and continued off the roadway before colliding with a parked cargo trailer, police said. Harmon was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The crash remains under investigation by the Linden Police Traffic Bureau.

At 7:33 p.m., officers responded to Van Vechten Street near Hanford Street and found a man who had been shot, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. At 9 p.m., Newark police responded to Boys Park at Sussex Avenue and Duryea Street and located Raymeer Tarver suffering from gunshot wounds near a basketball court in the park, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Frage said.  Tarver was taken to University Hospital and pronounced dead soon after, Stephens and Frage said. At 9:15 p.m., officers responded to Eagle Rock Village on a report of a man who had been robbed by a person wearing all black with a black ski mask who had a pointed object in his hand, Mt.
