Arlington Amazon Fresh Mysteriously Closes One year after its opening, the Amazon Fresh store in Arlington has closed — for now. Amazon officials said that the Cyrstal City store, located at 1550 Crystal Dr., is currently closed and will eventually reopen. Neither a reopening date nor a reason for closing were provided. Amazon spokeswoman Jessica Martin issued the following statement to Daily Voice: We regret the inconvenience to customers, and look forward to re-opening the store soon. Suspect Pistol Whips Victim During Crystal City Armed Robbery: Police A person was seriously injured when an armed robber pistol whipped them earlier this week, police said.  Three friends were walking along a sidewalk in Crystal City on Monday night, May 23, when two men approached them from behind, pulled a gun, and demanded money, Arlington County Police said in an incident report.  The suspects stole their cash, some items of clothing, and electronics.
