Vivek Taneja Dies After DC Fight
A 41-year-old tech exec from Virginia died a week after being knocked out during a fight in Washington D.C. Vivek Taneja, of Alexandria, was knocked unconscious during a fight on Friday Feb. 2 around 2 a.m., on the 1100 block of 15th Street NW, DC police said. Anna Diederich, a medical student at the University of Virginia, died on Oct. 9, after suffering a medical emergency, her obituary says. She was 24 years old. Anna was born in Alexandria and went on to graduate magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 2021, with a degree in chemical engineering, according to her obituary on the Adams-Green Funeral Home website.
