Pursuit In Maryland Ends With Three Minors Apprehended Following DC Carjacking, Police Say Seat Pleasant police stopped a carjacking chase in its tracks Sunday night, capturing three juveniles and recovering a handgun after a pursuit that stretched across town, officials say. Off-Duty DC Cop Critically Injured By Driver In Maryland Parking Lot (Developing) An off-duty Metropolitan Police officer was critically injured after being struck by a car in a Maryland parking lot, officials said. At approximately 10:40 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, a driver struck the officer in the 10500 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Highway in Bowie, according to a spokesperson from the Prince George’s County Police Department. The incident happened in the parking lot near the Shoppers grocery store.
