A 34-year-old motorcyclist was killed on Monday morning after losing control and violently crashing in Virginia, state police say. Harrisonburg resident Jacobo E. Wilson, has been identified by investigators as the rider killed after striking a utility pole on the opposite side of the road in Rockingham County. A road-raging motorcyclist popped off and took shots at another driver following an incident that played out in Stafford County early on Sunday morning, officials say. Deputies were called at around 12:15 a.m. on July 21 to the intersection of Warrenton Road and Village Parkway, where there reports of shots fired with a vehicle struck at least twice. Motorcyclist Killed After Going Off-Road, Striking Guardrail: Virginia State Police
Speed may have been a factor in a motorcycle crash that resulted in a 25-year-old man's death in Fairfax County, according to Virginia State Police. Centreville resident Juan Rossi, Jr. has been identified as the rider who was killed earlier this week after losing control and crashing his bike. Police say that Rossi was riding at around 10:20 a.m. on Monday, June 17 when he was riding a 2017 Yamaha YZF north on the Route 28 ramp heading toward Interstate 66 when he ran off the road and struck a guardrail.
