A Spotsylvania woman is facing charges after being caught in a stolen vehicle and attempting to smuggle narcotics into jail, authorities in Fredericksburg said. A member of the Fredericksburg Police Department on patrol on Friday, Dec. 13 in the 1100 block of Carl D. Silver Parkway, spotted a suspicious vehicle matching the description of one recently reported stolen. An 18-year-old inmate was found dead in his cell prompting a death investigation at the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center, police said. Juan Felipe Mejia Campos of Alexandria was found unresponsive Thursday morning, March 28, county police said. Aid was rendered, however, Campos died at the scene, police said.
