For nearly two weeks, the net kept tightening across Maryland. From Sept. 14 through Sept. 26, Baltimore Police joined local, state and federal law enforcement partners for a sweeping warrant operation that resulted in 86 arrests and 92 warrants served across Baltimore, officials announced on Tuesday, Oct. 6. An 18-year-old has been arrested after a woman was shot and killed in Pennsylvania early Monday, Oct. 5, police said. Juel J. Diaz was charged with criminal homicide and carrying a firearm without a license later that day, according to Harrisburg police. Officers responded to the 100 block of Hillside Road around 12:30 a.m. for a report of a person shot. They found an adult woman suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.
