Rasheed Quayle Tisdale, 32, was found guilty of criminal conspiracy to commit criminal homicide following a four-day jury trial before Northampton County Judge Abraham P. Kassis on Thursday, Nov. 5, District Attorney Stephen G. Baratta announced.

The conviction stems from the Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023, shooting death of Legious Robert Minder Sr., 46, a Neptune, New Jersey, native and father of 17.

Easton police were called to Chubby's convenience store at 154 West Saint Joseph Street for a reported shooting.

Officers found Minder sitting in the passenger seat of a parked vehicle with a gunshot wound to his head, prosecutors said.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital but died from his injuries shortly afterward.

Investigators identified Tisdale through surveillance footage, license plate readers, and advanced cellphone location tracking, according to the DA's Office.

Tisdale was arrested in Philadelphia on Dec. 17, 2024, and charged with criminal homicide and conspiracy to commit criminal homicide.

Following his conviction on the conspiracy charge, Tisdale faces up to 40 years in state prison when he is sentenced on Thursday, Dec. 10.

Another Philadelphia man, Kameron Barnes Nuble, 36, previously pleaded guilty to third-degree murder and criminal conspiracy to commit criminal homicide in connection with Minder's killing.

Nuble was sentenced on May 27, 2026, to 25 to 50 years in state prison, according to an earlier release from the DA's Office.

During Nuble's sentencing, Judge Kassis told him, "You've created a loss that just can't be made up for."

Baratta credited the Easton Police Department and assisting Philadelphia agencies for solving the case.

"The tireless work of the Easton Police, in coordinated cooperation with other agencies, solved this case," Baratta said. "Important law enforcement tools, including license plate readers and sophisticated cell phone location technology, made this prosecution possible."

Family Marked By Gun Violence

Minder was an entrepreneur known throughout New Jersey, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, according to his obituary published by Judd-Beville Funeral Home.

He left behind 17 children and 11 grandchildren.

His son, Legious Robert Minder Jr., was also convicted of murder in an unrelated Pennsylvania killing.

Minder Jr. pleaded guilty to third-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault, and other offenses stemming from the Aug. 31, 2022, shooting death of Najeer Lane, 22, of Allentown.

He was sentenced to 40 to 80 years in state prison, as Daily Voice previously reported.

Lane was killed when gunmen ambushed a vehicle and fired 13 rounds in approximately one second using a handgun modified to fire automatically, prosecutors said.

Two other men charged in Lane's killing and the related attacks have also received lengthy prison sentences.

Frederick Antwan Marks Jr., 26, of Bath, was sentenced in October 2026 to 15 to 30 years in prison, followed by 10 years of probation.

Xavier Grenon, 27, of Allentown, was sentenced to 18 years and nine months to 40 years in prison after being convicted of charges related to the attempted killing of another man involved in the incident.

The investigation into Minder Sr.'s death was led by Easton Police Detective Christopher Miller and Inspector Brian Burd, with assistance from the Philadelphia Police Department's Homicide Fugitive Task Force and SWAT Team.

First Assistant District Attorney Robert Eyer prosecuted the case.
