16-Year-Old Brought Gun To Chester High School, Police Say City police were called to Chester High School on Tuesday morning, May 28 after security found a student with a handgun, officials say.  Authorities said the 16-year-old student tried to pass through the school’s security checkpoint with a pistol around 7:50 a.m. The student was detained by the school resource officer, police said.  The firearm was recovered and a juvenile petition is being filed, police added.

Arthur Jones, 38, who is considered armed and dangerous, is wanted for the incident that happened on Sunday, May 12 in which the officer was assaulted and disarmed, police previously said. Yusef "Duke" Coleman had previously been arrested in the West Oxford Street incident, police said, while one woman was wanted for questioning.
