Bethlehem Man ID'd As Victim In Deadly Lower Nazareth Crash The Northampton County Coroner's Office has named the driver in a deadly crash in Lower Nazareth on Tuesday evening, Jan. 30.  Andrew D. Mitchell, 31, of Bethlehem, died from blunt force injuries to the torso at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus, officials said. His manner of death was ruled accidental.  The crash happened near Newburg Road and West Mayfield Circle, according to the Coroner's Office. WFMZ reported that a woman and child in a different car suffered minor injuries.

Steve Sensinger Killed While 'Experimenting With Explosives' A Lehighton man is dead after state police said he was "experimenting with explosives" on Wednesday morning, Jan. 24.  It happened in a detached garage at a home on Franklin Heights Road in Weissport, Franklin Township just before 3 a.m., troopers said.  The explosion caused a small fire and killed 58-year-old Steve Sensinger, police wrote in a release. Coroner IDs Body Pulled From Lehigh Valley Retention Pond Authorities have identified the body found in a Lehigh Valley retention pond over the weekend.  The victim was 75-year-old Phillip Zulauf of Lower Mount Bethel Township, said Northampton County Coroner Zakary Lysek in a statement. His body was recovered from the pond on Sunday, April 9, the coroner added.  Zulauf's car and belongings were previously discovered near the small reservoir on Depues Road in Lower Mount Bethel on Friday, March 30, WFMZ reports.  The official cause and manner of death are pending further investigation, the coroner's office said.
