Montgomery County officials are investigating a case of measles in the area. The patient is an unvaccinated child, and the Office of Public Health is conducting contact tracing "in coordination with (...) the child’s guardian," authorities said in a release Friday, July 28. Jenkins, 47, was fully vaccinated when he died after a "short bout" with the virus, his obituary says.
