'Michael Jordan Of Pizza?' Portnoy's The Judge At Another Bucks County Pizzeria
Barstool Sports CEO Dave Portnoy has been in Bucks County taking bites out of pies this week. The latest stop on this leg of the One Bite tour is Russo's in New Hope. The restaurant, owned by a Trenton/Robbinsville area native, specializes in the tomato pie. What's Portnoy have to say? 7.5. The CEO's chief complaint was that the pie was too big, making it difficult to keep the crunch. But the Russo's t-shirt that reads, "The Michael Jordan of Pizza?" "That's a 10.9 t-shirt," Portnoy says. Russo's is located at 41 N Main St., in New Hope.

Four Pennsylvania Restaurants Named Among Best In America By Popular Reservation Review Site
Four Pennsylvania restaurants were named to this year's OpenTable list of the best 100 best in the U.S. The popular restaurant reservation and review website culminated the list based on 12 million reviews from customers and dining metrics, the website said. OpenTable also considered diner ratings, percentage of reservations made in advance, and five-star reviews, it said. As National Weather Service meteorologists issue advisories ahead of the weekend's forecasted tropical storm, officials across greater Philadelphia are tweaking their schedules to accommodate. Model and one-time Bucks County resident Gigi Hadid was fined $1,000 by Cayman Island authorities after reportedly passing through customs with marijuana in her bag, according to the country's Customs & Border Control office. Missing Allentown Dad's Remains Recovered In Delaware River: Bucks Coroner
The remains of an Allentown dad who went missing late last year were recovered from the Delaware River in Solebury Township over the weekend, the Bucks County Coroner's Office has confirmed. Solebury police were called to Virginia Forrest Recreation Area on Route 32 around 10:15 a.m on Sunday, April 9, the department said in a release. On the scene, officers spotted "what appeared to be a deceased subject" on a boulder in the river, and removed the remains with assistance from New Hope and Point Pleasant firefighters. Two people were cited at the historic Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope after police say an argument nearly came to blows. It happened around 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, said New Hope police in a release. A New Jersey man was arrested after police say he was spotted publicly raping a woman in the Philadelphia suburbs. Two officers were patrolling New Hope just before midnight Friday, July 1, when a resident reported seeing a rape happening in an alleyway on West Mechanic Street, police said. Second Inmate Dies Within A Month At Bucks County Correctional Facility
For the second time in a month, authorities have announced they are investigating an inmate's death at the Bucks County Correctional Facility. The inmate, a man in his late 30s, was pronounced dead Sunday, July 3, by medical workers at the jail, James O' Malley, Deputy Director of Communications said. Police in Bucks County are seeking the public's help identifying a man who they say was involved in a hit-and-run accident earlier this month. A silver SUV, unknown make and model, pulled out of the Wawa parking lot onto South Sugan Road and struck an orange 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe around 3 p.m. on Aug. 13, according to New Hope police. The silver SUV did not stop and continued south on South Sugan Road, police said. 21-Year-Old PA Woman Struck, Killed By Car At Jersey Shore
A 21-year-old Pennsylvania woman died after being struck by a car at the Jersey Shore last week, authorities announced. Katherine Lux, of New Hope, was struck at 26th Street and West Avenue in Ocean City around 8:45 p.m. last Wednesday, the Cape May Prosecutor's Office said. She was rushed to Shore Medical Center and transferred to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, where she died Friday, authorities said. No charges had been filed against the 44-year-old Egg Harbor Township driver. The investigation remains ongoing.

The National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado touched down in Lehigh County during Thursday's storm -- making that the eighth across New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.
