Just days after officials said state Rep. Kevin Boyle was wanted for violating a Protection From Abuse order, the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office said the arrest warrant against him has been withdrawn. DA Larry Krasner said the warrant was based on "information that was accurate" and "truthful," but that prosecutors were "missing a key piece of information" that they were "only able to confirm today." One of the most closely watched Senate races this midterm election year is becoming clearer, according to a new poll released by CNN. The data shows Democratic Lt. Gov. John Fetterman leading Republican candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz 51 percent to 45 percent among expected voters. The advantage is "narrowly outside of the survey’s margin of error," the outlet says. Suburban Philly Resident Cut By Political Signs Rigged With Razor Blades, Police Say
Police in Bucks County are investigating after they say a resident was cut by razor-rigged political signs strategically placed in their yard. A booby-trapped campaign sign for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Josh Shapiro, among two others, were placed without permission on the resident's property, Upper Makefield police said in a Sunday, Oct. 16 Facebook post.
