Schnecksville School Suspends Classes Over Violent Threat
A Lehigh County high school canceled classes on Friday, Oct. 28 after administrators received a violent threat. Lehigh Career and Technical Institute in Schnecksville alerted police after receiving "a threat directed at the school," administrators said in a message on the school's website. Classes are scheduled to resume normally on Monday, Oct. 31, they added. Hit-Run Driver Sought In Philly Area School Bus Crash, Police Say
Authorities in Delaware County are searching for the driver who they say crashed into a school bus and fled the scene. Nether Providence Township police said a commercial truck hit a Wallingford-Swarthmore School District bus near the intersection of Providence Road and Meadow Lane just after 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26. Allentown School District may soon begin the search for a new superintendent, according to a report by WFMZ.
