Man Shot Dead Inside Philly Store, Police Say One man was shot to death inside a Kensington Avenue shop on Tuesday morning, April 9, Philadelphia police said in a release.  Authorities responded to a shop on the 2800 block around 9:30 a.m., PPD said. They found an unidentified man in his 20s or 30s with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body and took him to Temple Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, according to the department.  One person is in custody and the Homicide Unit is investigating, authorities said.  "Updates will be sent as they become available," a PPD spokesperson added.

Missing Teen Sought In Northeast Philadelphia: Police Authorities in Philadelphia are looking for a 15-year-old boy who hasn't been seen since  Saturday, March 2.  Christopher Hackimer was last spotted around 10:30 a.m. on the 4500 block of McKinley Street in Wissinoming, according to city police. Officials believe he frequents the area near Lehigh Avenue and Kensington Avenue.  He is 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds and was last seen wearing a black and white "Backwoods" hoodie with blue sweatpants, police added.  Anyone with information can call detectives at 215-686-3153.

Philly Police Chase Stolen Truck Through Kensington: Authorities A car chase through Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood ended in one arrest early Thursday morning, Feb. 29, city police told Daily Voice.  A white 2023 Hino L6 truck was reported stolen from Baldor Specialty Food in Tacony around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night, PPD said.  By 12:30 a.m., investigators had tracked the truck to Kensington using GPS, police said. Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect's sedan.
