Resident Shot Dead Answering Front Door Of Northeast Philly Home: Detectives Police have identified the Northeast Philadelphia man who was shot and killed answering his door late Thursday night, Dec. 28.  Bilal Henry, 33, heard a loud knocking at his 3500 Woodhaven Road apartment sometime before 11:30 p.m., according to investigators.  When he opened the door, he was shot multiple times in the torso, police said. Officers were called to 2900 Westmont Street around 1:20 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28 for a "hospital case," city police said. There, they found the unidentified Hispanic man lying face-up in the roadway under a sheet, having suffered a gunshot wound to the right side of his face, police said.
