Woman Who Died After Being Struck By Car Outside Dieruff High School Was Paraprofessional The woman who died after being struck by a car outside Dieruff High School in Allentown has been identified as a paraprofessional at the school, authorities said. Angela Yowakim, 25, was crossing Irving Street near Andre Reed Way when she was hit by the car just before the school day started around 6:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, according to Allentown police and the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Car In Allentown: Police A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car in Allentown, authorities said. The unidentified victim was hit near N. Irving Street and Andre Reed Way around 6:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, Allentown police said.
