Officials are advising residents across southeastern and central Pennsylvania to take caution ahead of the snowstorm predicted for Friday, Jan. 19, according to National Weather Service meteorologists. Chester, Delaware, Philadelphia, and parts of lower Bucks and Montgomery counties are under a winter storm warning as of 5 p.m. Thursday. Private Basketball Coach Abused Teen Athletes In PA For Years, DA Says
A Chester County area basketball trainer is accused of sexually abusing child athletes for years, prosecutors say. Zachary Ray, 31, of Wynnewood, is charged with aggravated indecent assault, child pornography, unlawful contact, and related counts, said the Chester County District Attorney's Office. Investigators believe that from 2014 to 2023, Ray abused at least three victims between the ages of 10 and 16 at area schools, parks, and homes. A Pennsylvania man is charged with felony aggravated assault and related counts after police say he set another man's beard on fire. William Robert Bradshaw III, 30, of West Chester was arrested by Borough Police on Wednesday, Aug. 30, and released the same day on $50,000 bail, court records show. An 11-year-old Amish boy was struck dead on Friday, authorities say. Samuel K. Fisher of Peach Bottom was riding a non-motorized scooter in the 1500 block of Slate Hill Road in Drumore when he was hit by a passing car on Aug. 25, the authorities told Daily Voice. Javier Camacho, a West Chester man who was last seen by loved ones in February, was found dead in Philadelphia, his family members say. He was 48. West Chester police announced in early March that Camacho had gone missing.
