A car slammed into a building in Central Pennsylvania on Friday morning, according to the Quarryville Fire Department which responded to the crash. The car plowed into one of the businesses in the Commerce Commons development in the 200 block of Commerce Drive in East Drumore Township around 9 a.m. on June 28, officials with the department said. The car left quite a hole in the building and damaged its interior, but thankfully no one was injured, according to the fire company. An Amish couple was killed when their horse-and-buggy was struck by a pick-up truck in Central Pennsylvania on Sunday, authorities say. Jacob M. Stoltzfus, 71, was driving the horse-drawn buggy west with his 70-year-old wife, Annie B. Beiler Stoltzfus riding along as a passenger near 528 Valley Road, Eden Township when they were struck at 5:55 a.m. on Aug. 6, according to the Pennsylvania State Police. A bystander with a fire extinguisher and a Quarryville firefighter with a garden hose battled a house fire, following the two-vehicle crash in Quarryville on Thursday, authorities say. The force of a two-vehicle crash sent a car into a home in the 900 block of Kirkwood Pike in Colerain Township at 8:20 p.m. on July 13, 2023, fire officials said. When the fire crews arrived they found one vehicle in the road and the other one went into the "B" side of the house, according to the Quarryville Fire Department. Cement Truck Crash Sends Vehicle Into Quarryville House
A cement truck hit a passenger car, sending it into a home in Lancaster County on Thursday, according to Quarryville Fire Department.
