Central PA Home 'Gutted' In Fire: Officials (Photos)

Residents in neighboring townships could see the smoke plumes billowing from the scene of a Lower Paxton house fire on Tuesday morning.

The Lower Paxton Township Fire Company was called to a dryer fire in the 5300 block of Wilshire Road around 7:45 a.m. on Feb. 20, fire officials detailed. 

The fire quickly spread to the ceiling and then throughout the home, requiring multiple fire companies to be called to the scene. 

Wilshire Road was shuttered between Fogg Road and Jennifer Circle.

No injuries have been reported as of noon. 

The Dauphin County Fire Investigation Team is investigating this fire incident.
