A Delaware County woman is facing charges for torturing animals in footage she shared online. Anigar Monsee, 28, of Upper Darby, mutilated and tortured the chickens, frogs, and bunnies, in footage shared to YouTube and other social media platforms, multiple news outlets including 6abc and NBC10. Two New York men are accused of staging at least eight fake robberies so the store owners could receive immigration benefits, authorities said. John-Tyler Dawes, 27, of Delaware County, died suddenly on Sunday, Feb. 12, according to his obituary. A decomposing body inside of a mattress was found overnight in Delaware County overnight, 6abc reports. Paramedics called to the 7000 block of Greenwood Avenue near Church Lane in Upper Darby around midnight found the woman's body in a back alley behind a row of twin homes, the outlet said. Authorities have called off the search for the Delaware County man who went missing on Christmas Eve and was found dead days later, various news reports say. Thomas Cortallessa's body was pulled from the Ridley Marina on Tuesday, Dec. 27 around 11 a.m., according to 6abc and CBS Philly. Upper Darby police on Dec. 24 asked for the public's help in finding 76-year-old Cortallessa, who they said was "last known to be driving his light blue 2013 Toyota Corolla." Police are looking for a van that fled the scene of a crash in Upper Darby on Wednesday, July 27. The unidentified victim was on a motorcycle when they were struck by the van on West Chester Pike and Kenmore Road around 7:30 p.m., local police said.
