The 23-year-old man was standing outside of his broken-down 1992 Mercury, signaling for help around 4:30 a.m. near mile marker 26.4 in Tilden Township, Pennsylvania State Police said. The chain reaction began when a 2008 Honda driven by a 66-year-old Dumfries, VA, man, rear-ended a 2022 Toyota driven by a 25-year-old man from Pine Grove, PA, state police said. Wegmans To Get Rid of Plastic Bags By End Of The Year Customers will soon no longer be able to get single-use plastic bags at Wegmans stores in Virginia, the company announced this week.  The grocery chain said stores in Leesburg, Dulles, Potomac, Lake Manassas, Virginia Beach, and Charlottesville would stop using the bags beginning on July 1. Wegmans in Fairfax and Richmond counties have already phased out single-use plastic bags.  Customers can purchase paper bags for 5 cents each or bring reusable bags for their groceries.
