Wanted: Police Search For Suspect, Victim Airlifted From Stabbing In Shippensburg

One person was airlifted from the scene of a stabbing in Shippensburg Thursday, according to area police.

06/30/2021 2:50 p.m.

Shippensburg Police were called to a knife assault in the 1st block of North Washington Street around 10 p.m.

A victim who was found at the scend was flown to a nearby trauma center.

A warrant has been issued for Shaykwon Leandre Shaw, 23, of Shippensburg, who is the sole suspect in this stabbing.

Shaw has been charged with the following felony offenses:

F1 Aggravated Assault - Attempts to cause serious bodily injury or cause injury with extreme indifference
F2 Aggravated Assault - Attempts to cause or causes bodily with deadly weapon

Shippensburg Police Department believes this is an isolated incident and there is no immediate danger to the public.

Anyone with information on the location of Shaykwon Shaw is asked to notify the Shippensburg Police Department.
