Anonymous Tipster Leads Police To Dead Body In Reading Authorities are looking for answers after an anonymous caller led them to a dead body in a Reading park.  City police received a tip just before 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, that a man was dead beneath the Lindbergh Viaduct in Pendora Park on Reading's southeast side, the department told Daily Voice.  Responding officers said they located the body of a 56-year-old Latino man, whose identity they have not released. North Philly Resident Shoots Robber Climbing Through Window, Cops Say A north Philadelphia store resident sent a would-be thief to the hospital early on Thursday, Dec. 22, police say. The suspect climbed into a window of a building on the 2700 block of Germantown Avenue at around 4:30 a.m., authorities told Daily Voice. Once inside, the resident shot him.  The suspect was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was placed in critical condition, authorities said.
