Police ID Pizza Delivery Driver Killed In Philadelphia
Authorities have named the 29-year-old deliveryman shot and killed in Philadelphia on Thursday, June 20. Danny Matthews of the 2400 block of Harlan Street was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital, city police said. He was shot while sitting in the driver's seat of his car on the 2000 block of Ridge Avenue, according to investigators. Authorities said he was the victim of a robbery. No weapon was recovered from the scene and no arrests had been as of midday Friday, police said. The Homicide Detectives Division is investigating.

Body Found In Wissahickon Creek: Philadelphia Police
A man was found dead in the Wissahickon Creek in Philadelphia Tuesday morning, April 16, according to city police. Authorities said the body was found near the 5000 block of Ridge Avenue around 7 a.m., across from the SEPTA loop. The remains were those of an unidentified man between 25 and 30, police said. While the body "appears to have been in the water for a while," there was "no visible trauma," they added.

One of Philadelphia's most popular ice cream shops is closed after an armed robbery. C&C Creamery, located on the 5400 block of Ridge Avenue, was robbed at gunpoint at the takeout window by two men in black hoodies Monday, Aug. 21, Fox29 reports. An 18-year-old man is accused of opening fire on an off-duty officer during a confrontation in Philadelphia last week. Police Seek Missing Philadelphia Man
A Philadelphia man has gone missing, and police are asking for the public's aid in bringing him home. Samuel Key, 64, has not been seen since Sunday, March 5 at around 3 p.m. the department told Daily Voice. His last known location was on the 1600 block of Ridge Avenue.
