A tractor-trailer caught on fire along the Pennsylvania Turnpike prompting a detour to be put in place on Tuesday, Oct. 22, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The fire broke out in Upper Allen Township near mile marker 234.7 around 2:09 p.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA. The turnpike is closed at the Gettysburg interchange. A multi-vehicle crash has caused delays on Route 30 in Lancaster County on Tuesday, Oct. 22, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The crash happened in the westbound lanes just before the Route 283/Harrisburg/Lancaster exit in Manheim Township around 9:34 a.m. Traffic backed up in the area as emergency vehicles remained on the scene. A roadway is closed to all traffic due to a downed tree involving multiple power lines, Doylestown police said. Pebble Hill Road is blocked to all traffic at its intersection with Turk Road at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, according to the Doylestown Township Police Department. The closure was at State Street. Drivers were asked to "find alternate route," the police said. The roadway reopened at 5:28 p.m. according to the police.

A tractor-trailer fire has caused delays on Route 283 on Thursday morning, Oct. 3, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The fire happened in the westbound lanes of PA Rt 283 between Exit: Pa. 772 – Mount Joy/Manheim And Exit: Rheems/Elizabethtown, according toe PennDOT's 511PA. Emergency crews were called to the fire around 8:45 a.m., 511PA shows. Lane restriction was put in place as crews remained on the scene. A major gas leak prompted evacuations in Palmer Township, authorities said. The incident occurred shortly before noon on Thursday, Aug. 8. Both lanes of travel on William Penn Highway were closed as a result of the leak between Stones Crossing Road and Sheridan Drive, police said. A vehicle crash into a fence at a Route 30 ramp is causing some delays on Monday, Aug. 5, according to PennDOT's 511PA. Two tractor-trailers collided on Interstate 81 sending one person to the hospital, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice. 'Juvenile' Hit By Car In Broomall: Police
A juvenile victim was hospitalized after being hit by a car on Friday night, July 26, according to Marple police. The victim was struck by a southbound vehicle while crossing Sproul Road near Lawrence Road in Broomall around 7 p.m., authorities said in a release. Coroner Names Woman Killed In Carbon County Crash
A Hazleton woman was killed in a Nesquehoning crash on Tuesday morning, July 23, officials say. Angela De La Cruz Laureano, 46, was involved in a wreck on Route 93 and pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Carbon County Coroner's Office. Her cause of death was multiple traumatic injuries resulting from a motor vehicle collision and the manner of death was ruled accidental, authorities said. In addition to the Coroner's Office, Nesquehoning police and the District Attorney's Office are investigating, they added.
