Philadelphia Man Climbed Ladder To Reach Girl's NJ Bedroom, Sexually Assault Her: Police
A Philadelphia man is facing charges in the terrifying sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl in New Jersey, authorities announced.
Aleem King, 35, climbed a ladder up to the girl's open bedroom window on the 1000 block of North Street in Millville, early March 14, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said.
He had a handgun that he used to threaten the girl while he sexually assaulted her, against her will, Webb-McRae said.

Pair Arrested In Fatal Shooting In Cumberland County: Prosecutor
Two men have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Millville last month, authorities said.
Maurice L. Jones, 30, of Vineland and Edwin I. Torres, 31, of Philadelphia, were charged with conspiracy to commit murder and weapons offenses, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.
On Feb. 17, Millville police responded to 4 th and E Street for reports of shots fired.
Police found Lamont O. Jones Jr., 34, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. He was pronounced dead shortly thereafter at Cooper Hospital, the prosecutor said.

A convicted gun trafficker in Bucks County will spend five to 10 years in state prison, authorities announced.
Bashir T. Shakir, 25, of Yeadon, was convicted of twelve felonies connected to straw purchases of firearms that were later uncovered in criminal investigations across the mid-Atlantic, said Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub in a statement Wednesday, Nov. 9.

Three guns were seized along with several knives from people at Philadelphia International Airport in five days, officials said.
The three guns were detected in the checkpoint X-ray machine on Saturday, July 30, Tuesday, Aug. 2, and Wednesday, Aug. 2, according to the Transportation Security Administration.
