Lancaster County House Explosion Ruled Murder-Suicide
A couple in Mount Joy Township died in an apparent murder-suicide that ended with their home exploding, according to Northwest Regional police. The couple was found dead in their after a home explosion in the 100 block of Waldheim Road in Mount Joy Township June 1, just before 6 p.m. David Preston, 63, and his wife Victoria Preston, 60 were identified as the victims several days later, as Daily Voice previously reported. A Pennsylvania man who shot his wife and then turned the gun on himself in front of the couple's infant daughter apparently had a long history of domestic violence, a news report says. Elizabeth Wise of Swatara earlier this year reported being punched in the ribs and abdomen earlier this year by her husband, Brian Womelsdorf, but wanted to make the relationship work, PennLive reports. Swatara PD Heard Baby Crying, Found 3 Children In Home During Murder-Suicide
New details have come out about Friday's murder-suicide in Dauphin County, say Swatara Township police. The police arrived in 600 block of Mohn Street at 12:08 a.m., less than 10 minutes after receiving a call about a domestic disturbance in the area. Officers forced their way into the home when no one answered the door but they could "hear a baby crying." Murder-Suicide Under Investigation In Dauphin County, Say Police
A couple was found dead--in what police are calling a murder-suicide-- in their Swatara Township home on Friday. Police were called to a domestic dispute in the 600 block of Mohn Street shortly before midnight. When no one answered the door, officials made a forced entry into the home-- finding a man and woman shot dead, say police. : IDs Released For Man, Woman Dead In Easton Apartment Complex Murder-Suicide
Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek has identified the man and woman who died in a murder-suicide at an Easton apartment complex Tuesday night. Shakeeyah Elisia Jackson, 34, was found dead with 10 gunshot wounds at the 600 building of the Canal Park Apartments shortly after 11:35 p.m. Tuesday, authorities said. Her death has been ruled a homicide.
