Two Seriously Injured In Head-On Downingtown Crash: Police (

A man and a woman are hospitalized after an early morning wreck on Route 322, Downingtown police say. A silver Honda Fit and a white Chevrolet Equinox collided on the 600 block just after 8 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, authorities said. Both were taken to Paoli Hospital Trauma Center while Route 322/Brandywine Avenue was shut down for more than three hours. The crash remains under investigation and anyone who witnessed it is asked to call 610-269-0263 or email traffic@downingtown.org.

Sen. John Fetterman Involved In Maryland Car Crash
Senator John Fetterman's office said he and his wife Giselle were in a two-car crash on Sunday morning, June 9. Maryland State Police said it happened in the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 at Interstate 68 in Hancock. Fetterman was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe that struck the rear of a Chevrolet Impala "for unknown reasons," troopers said. "Out of an abundance of caution, they were evaluated at a local hospital," a spokesperson said. Newark Flight Attendant From PA Dies After Spinout Crash With Tractor Trailer On Route 78
Jennifer Friedel-Hoffman, a 60-year-old Pennsylvania resident, was killed in a crash on Route 78 in New Jersey on Wednesday, May 29. A tractor-trailer was parked and unoccupied on the right shoulder on Route 78 West in Lebanon when a Subaru driven by Friedel-Hoffman entered the area and struck the left rear of the truck just after 9 a.m., New Jersey State Police said. A 33-year-old was struck dead in a head-on crash "on his way home from volunteering at church," Freedom Valley Church officials wrote in a Facebook post. A 50-year-old motorcyclist has died following a crash, the Manheim Township Police announced on Monday, June 3. Luis Rodriguez, 50 of the 2000 block of Pennwick Road in Lancaster, died from Multiple Traumatic Injuries in what the Lancaster County Coroner's office has ruled an accident. A multi-vehicle accident shut down an on-ramp to Interstate 81 in Franklin County on Friday morning, May 17, according to PennDOT. State Vehicle Involved In I-78 Crash In Berks County, PA State Police Say
A crash truck was struck from behind on Interstate 78 on Monday afternoon, May 13, according to state police. Troopers said it happened around 2 p.m. near the Stump Road underpass in Maxatawny Township. The crash truck was stopped in the right westbound lane with its emergency lights flashing. A tractor-trailer was approaching from the west and "attempted to change lanes as the crash truck indicated," but was unable to do so or stop in time, state police said. Both vehicles suffered "minimal damage" and no injuries were reported, according to troopers.

A Pottsville man has died after a crash in Bethel Township on Tuesday, May 7, state police say. William J. Lecher, 56, was headed north on Route 183 when he lost control near the Appalachian Trail, troopers said in a release. Authorities said his Chevrolet Silverado entered the southbound lane before crossing onto the shoulder, striking a sign, and coming to rest on a grassy embankment. The collision occurred around 12:30 p.m. on May 7, according to PennDOT's 511PA.
