US Rt 30 Reopens After HazMat Called To Jackknifed Tractor-Trailer (Update) A jackknifed tractor-trailer caused major delays on US Route 30 on Friday afternoon. The tractor-trailer leaked fuel onto US Rt. 30 East by Exit: PA 462 - Lincoln Highway, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications.  The jackknifing happened around 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 1, dispatchers explained. No injuries were reported, but a HazMat crew remains on the scene for "spill control," dispatchers said. Company 63 from the  Lafayette Fire Company assisted Lancaster County HazMat with the cleanup. Police ID Speeding Driver, 25, Killed In Head-On Crash With Tour Bus In Lancaster County Police have identified the 25-year-old sedan driver who died in a crash with a tour bus in Lancaster County early Thursday, Oct. 26. Louis Marotto, of New Holland, was heading north on Hollander Road at a high rate of speed in a Nissan sedan when she swerved into the southbound lane and struck the tour bus head-on, around 2:50 a.m. in Leacock Township on Thursday, Oct. 26, Pennsylvania State Police said. The tour bus operator was not injured, PSP said, and Marotto was pronounced dead at 4:05 a.m., of multiple blunt force trauma, the coroner said.

Christian Kloppenburg, 39, of East Petersburg, had a blood alcohol level of .132% (the legal limit is .08) when he collided with another motorcyclist on North Reading Road on Sept. 16, East Cocalico police said. Kloppenburg and the other motorcyclist were heading north. Both operators and a passenger were hospitalized. Kloppenburg was charged with DUI.
