Fire companies from four Pennsylvania counties battled a blaze at a barn and house fire late Friday night, Oct. 18 into Saturday morning, officials with Elverson-Honey Brook Area EMS announced. Man Arrested For Setting Fire Outside Carlisle Bar: Police
A 45-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly setting a fire outside a bar in Carlisle, authorities said. On Sunday, Aug. 11, at about 5:20 p.m., Carlisle Police and Fire Departments responded to a building fire at the Gingerbread Man Bar on Courthouse Avenue. The fire caused extensive damage to the trash bin area and walk-in cooler area for the bar. A two-alarm blaze destroyed a well-known Maryland meat butchering shop and caused upwards of $2.5 million in damages, officials say. Fire crews were called at approximately 5:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning to the Galvinell Meat Company in Cecil County, where there was a reported fire with flames showing through the roof and smoke billowing through the air on Ragan Road in Conowingo. Two people are out of their home after the seventh fire in four years at the Kensington Club Luxury Apartments on Sunday night.
