Chambersburg Teen Missing From Home For Nearly Two Weeks: Police
A teenage boy has been missing from his Chambersburg home for nearly two weeks, area police announced on Sunday Nov. 20. Milton Facundo-Garcia’s guardian last saw him on Nov. 9 around 3 p.m., according to Chambersburg police. No additional information was released. Chambersburg Man Charged With 75 Counts Of Animal Abuse, Neglect: Police
A Chambersburg man was caught hoarding and neglecting cats, the area police announced on Friday, Nov. 18. 38-year-old Roy Thomas was arrested following a welfare check after receiving reports about the multitudes of cats seeming to be living in the unit block of West Catherine Street on August 9, 2022. During a warranted search, the police found 25 cats in various conditions. The Chambersburg police released details shortly after urging the public to avoid the 500 block of Nelson Street in Chambersburg due "active incident" on Tuesday, Nov. 15. Officers were called to the area for a "suicidal subject within the residence" at approximately 10:46 a.m., the department stated in an updated release that afternoon. Two juveniles have been arrested and three men remain at-large following the brutal beat of a man in Chambersburg, authorities say. Chambersburg police were called to a report of an assault in the 100 block of Lincoln West on Monday, Nov. 7 at 6:30 p.m., according to a release by the department. A Chambersburg man who served just over a year in prison for sexually assaulting a child is wanted for a Megan's Law violation, police say. Josiah James Bobb served 437 days in jail after sexually assaulting a child and interfering with the custody of a minor, court records show. A 32-year-old Chambersburg man bit his mother so hard he left an "open wound," Pennsylvania state police say. A registered sex offender— currently accused of raping a child— has attacked corrections officers in a central Pennsylvania prison for the second time, authorities say.
