Recall Of 11.7M Pounds Of Meat, Poultry: List Released Of PA Schools That Received Products
A preliminary list has been released of schools that received items that were part of a nationwide recall of millions of pounds of meat and poultry products over fears they may be contaminated with Listeria.
The initial recall involving the manufacturer, Bruce Pac, was for 9,986,245 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) products sold at Walmart, Target, Amazon, Trader Joe's, 7-Eleven, Aldi, and other stores. It was announced on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Gabrielle Zabosky, 25, of Oxford, sang Kelly Clarkson’s “Mr. Know It All” during the Blind Audition for the show's 26th season on Tuesday, Oct. 8, according to Parade.

Drunk Woman Jumps Barefoot On Table At PA Restaurant While Fleeing: Police
A drunk woman caused a disturbance at a Berks County restaurant as she jumped barefoot onto a table while evading police, according to authorities.
Alexa Peters, 29, of Honey Brook, was charged after she refused commands to stop from police during a disturbance in Morgantown on Sunday, Oct. 6, the Caernarvon Township Police Department said.
Police were initially called to Lowes, located at 340 Crossings Boulevard, for a woman causing a disturbance in the area, according to police. Peters was reported to have stolen a drink, threw her jacket in an employee's face, and cursed at people.

Inmate Escapes Prison Work Release At Pennsylvania Walmart: Sheriff
A 46-year-old inmate escaped from the Cumberland County Prison during work release, the sheriff's office announced on Monday, Aug. 19.
William Kenneth Rosner, most recently of Lemoyne but previously of Philadelphia, Allentown, Northampton, and Harrisburg — is wanted on a felony escape charge after walking away from the Cumberland County Prison Work Release Center on Mondy morning, Aug. 19, the sheriff explained, and as detailed in court records.
His last known location was the Walmart in Carlisle, according to the sheriff's office.

'Keep Walking:' PA Walmart Customer Throws Victim To Ground In Store Fight, Police Say
A Huntingdon Valley man is accused of throwing a Walmart employee to the ground on Sunday, May 19, according to Warrington police.
Officials said Terrell Mainer, 38, was in the Valley Gate Drive Walmart around 9:45 a.m. He told a worker to "keep walking" when the employee looked in his direction, authorities said.
That's when police say Mainer walked past the worker, turned around, and threw him to the floor. He "began to wrestle with the victim" until two bystanders separated the pair, according to investigators.

A dad has turned himself over to the police in connection with a 3-month-old baby girl who was found at a Walmart in Philadelphia following a "theft in progress," police announced on Friday evening.
Alganon H. Muhammed, 22, originally of Concord Township, Delaware County, PA, most recently of Delaware, according to public records, "surrendered to police on January 26th," PPD stated in a release.

After multiple deaths, 450 fires, 2,000 incidents of overheating, and $19 million in property damage – millions of dehumidifiers are being recalled, according to a release by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission on Aug. 16, 2023.
The dehumidifiers were manufactured by Gree Electric Appliances, of China, and were sold under major brand names: Danby, De’Longhi, Fedders, Fellini, Frigidaire, GE, Gree, Kenmore, Norpole, Premiere, Seabreeze, SoleusAir and SuperClima, the CPSC explained.

Walmart Employees Steal $2.2K+ In Merch From PA Store, Police Say
Two women stole over $1,000 each in merchandise from a Central Pennsylvania Walmart, the police announced on Monday, June 12, 2023.
Shanterry Lynette Woodard and Nataly Danielle Rodriguez-Altache stole the merchandise from the Walmart located at 1000 Town Center Drive, according to West Manchester Township police.
Over several months, Woodward stole $1190.60 and Rodriguez-Altache stole $1038.22 for a total of $2228.82 worth of merchandise, the police explained.
Both women were employed by Walmart when they were caught on June 5, 2023, according to the police.
