$90K+ Raised For Springfield Family After Fatal Hit-Run I-95 Crash
A community is mourning their loss after a 32-year-old woman died due to a traumatic brain injury following a hit-run crash on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia. Tess Kathryn Fox, most recently of Springfield, Pennsylvania but formerly of West Deptford, New Jersey, died on Saturday, Sept. 14 as a result of the crash on Interstate 95 near Philadelphia International Airport on Saturday, Sept. 7, Pennsylvania State Police told Daily Voice on Thursday, Sept. 19, and as detailed in obituary published by McGuinness Funeral Homes. Philadelphia Man Among 2 Charged In Kidnapping Of UDel Student
A Philadelphia resident was one of two men charged with trying to kidnap a University of Delaware student from her off-campus apartment, authorities said. The victim had recently met Rene Villate Umpierre, 20, and invited him inside on Saturday night, several news outlets report citing Newark, DE police. Umpierre went inside as Keniel Rivera Peraza, 24, of Elkton, MD, waited outside in a car, authorities said. The ex-husband of a Pennsylvania woman killed by her lover's wife in a murder-suicide must relinquish the proceeds he received from her individual life insurance policies -- but can keep the proceeds from her group plan, a Delaware judge has ruled. West Chester Native, Georgia Grab Dies After 'Hard Fought' Battle With Cancer, 23
West Chester native, Georgia Reagan Grab died after a "hard-fought" battle with bile duct cancer on May 3. She was 23. Grab attended Henderson High School in West Chester, and later earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware in 2020, according to her obituary. Most recently, she worked as a Residential Behavioral Assistant at Upper Bay Counseling and Support, and was studying for her Master’s degree at Capella University, her obit says.
