Massive Rowhouse Fire Displaces 20 In Philly, Say Fire Officials About 20 people are displaced following a massive blaze in northeast Philadelphia on the afternoon of Monday, Dec. 12.  As many as 100 Philly firefighters were dispatched to the 4700 block of Salem Street in the city's Frankford section for a two-alarm fire affecting multiple rowhouses at about 12:30 p.m., officials said on Twitter.  The fire was placed under control at 1:29 p.m. Preliminary information indicates at least five homes were damaged; some were vacant.
