HS Football Player Riding In Pickup Flatbed Falls To Death: PA State Police
A 16-year-old died from injuries weeks after a serious fall from the flatbed of a pickup truck, the Pennsylvania State Police announced on Friday, July 19. The fall happened when Tucker Wessner of Heidelberg Township, Germansville, was in the flatbed or tailgate with a 17-year-old boy with an 18-year-old man in the passenger seat and a 17-year-old boy was driving the 2011 Toyota Tundra in Lynn Township on June 24, PSP Trooper Nathan Branosky detailed in the release. 'Credible' Threat Prompts Restrictions At

An "external threat" received by Lehigh Career and Technical Institute administrators led to restrictions on campus on Tuesday, March 12, according to school officials. LCTI did not describe the threat but said state police found it "credible." Movement was restricted on campus until all high school students were dismissed at 3:17 p.m., administrators said in a message on their website. Evening adult education classes will continue as scheduled. Upper Macungie police have arrested a suspect in connection with the incident, LCTI said.

Thrill-Seeking Motorcyclist Dies Following Crash In Eastern PA
A 26-year-old motorcyclist has died following a motorcycle crash, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio announced Saturday afternoon. Evyn Hummel of Slatington was involved in a crash with another motor vehicle near 3016 Main St., Washington Township at 1:17 p.m. on Aug. 18, according to Buglio. Evyn was pronounced dead in the Emergency Department at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest at 2:10 p.m., Buglio explained. For the fourth straight school day, Lehigh Career and Technical Institute in Schnecksville canceled classes Wednesday, Nov. 16 after administrators received a violent threat. Criminal charges have been filed in connection with a string of violent threats aimed at Allentown schools, authorities announced.
