A wife, gymnast, and friend has died due to an illness her husband announced shortly after her passing.
Molly E. Athorn, 33, of Palmyra "had many health issues" that worsened and sent her to a local emergency room on Thursday, Sept. 7., 2023, her husband Nate explained in a Facebook post.
She was surrounded by loved ones when she passed around 5 p.m., he explained.
Molly was born in Hershey on Aug. 29, 1990, and was raised in Hummelstown, according to her obituary.

UPDATE: Emercyn Hope Winfindale, 16, of Hummelstown was found safe by Saturday, Oct. 22 at 4 p.m., according to an updated release by the Pennsylvania state police.
